| Outcomes: Students develop skills in critically reviewing literature, group discussion, independent learning and group work. |

| Content: This unit reviews the objectives, current and future practice, and evaluation processes of work-site and community health promotion programmes. Psychosocial health behaviour models and strategies for health promotion are studied. It includes writing and presenting a work-site health proposal. Students have contact with work-site health promotion programmes in operation. The unit assists those interested in developing work-site or community programmes and developing their knowledge of health promotion. |

Assessment: This comprises a work-site health proposal, a written journal article and a short in-class written assessment.
